Alchemy GameLab
Alchemy GameLab is a small indie game design studio based on northern Colorado. We play and develop tabletop role-playing games, with a strong preference for dark fantasy, science fiction, and odd/unusual/quirky.
Inclusive Gaming
Gaming is for everyone, regardless of age, gender, ability, or background. Games — and roleplaying games especially — create portals into incredible worlds of unlimited imagination. Without exception, we want everyone to have the opportunity to come together at the table (in-person or virtually), collaborate, imagine, and have fun in a safe environment.
Therefore, our games should be used in the spirit of inclusion and equity. Although our games may delve into dark or mature themes, we strive to make the real world a better, kinder place where everyone can be treated with respect.
No AI Policy
Although we dabbled with AI for a little while in the early days, we lost interest pretty quick. The last thing we want to make is more AI slop. All games and content available on itch.io from Alchemy GameLab have been written and created by people. You will never read something from us that's been copied and pasted from ChatGPT. We strongly agree with the gaming community that over-reliance on AI writing and art results in poor quality and/or lack of originality. Our games also feature human-created artwork along with creative commons art and images.
